Gbegiri Ewedu Palm Oil Stew also known as Gbegiri Ewedu Obe Amala is a popular Yoruba soup prepared with beans, palm oil, ewedu, blended tomatoes, crayfish and peppers. Ewedu is a leafy vegetable, slimy when cooked but it’s delicious, nutritious and it’s usually served with beef, fish or chicken stew and amala.
